Psychedelic immersion
We tackled the task of designing animated backgrounds for two levels of a music video game with futuristic and dystopian aesthetics. The need was clear: create a psychedelic background that would complement the level without overshadowing the playable elements. The design had to harmonize with the atmosphere of the game, providing depth without distracting the player.
Visual dynamism
We faced the challenge of balancing movement and detail, ensuring that the game's platforms and character were clearly visible. Our approach was to develop a contrast between the game's 3D elements and its platforms, creating a sense of depth. We worked closely with the music team to synchronize the graphics with the soundtrack, adjusting the dynamism of the graphics at each moment of the level, enhancing the gameplay and immersion in this oppressive and psychedelic atmosphere.
