Harmony between music and game
Our focus was on creating an original soundtrack that combined elements of underground music with ambient atmospheres. It was essential that the vocals of the songs were intertwined with the game's story, forming an integral part of the narrative. In addition, precise synchronization between the music, the player's actions and the visual elements of the game was sought.
Music synchronization
The challenge was to structure the musical pieces to accompany the level design of the game, while maintaining their identity as independent songs. We introduce interactive and distinctive musical segments at key moments to reinforce immersion. The diversity of musical styles was essential to maintain a fresh and attractive rhythm.
Interactivity and sound evolution
We develop musical curves that generate an emotional impact and favor the player's learning curve. We implemented “musical puzzles” where players create melodies to advance in the game. We use MIDI to allow precise synchronization of each instrument with the game environment. The combination of sound environments, underground music and an array of electronic styles ensured a rich and varied listening experience.
